Light filtering
Soft, diffused glow with daytime privacy. The everyday choice for living spaces and kitchens.
Room darkening
Blocks most light and gives full privacy at night. Good for bedrooms that still want some morning light.

Rollers are a single flat fabric that rolls onto a tube: minimal, modern, hundreds of fabrics. Honeycombs are pleated cellular fabric that traps air: the most insulating option and softer looking. Rollers for a clean look and view; honeycombs for bedrooms and energy savings.
Yes, on honeycomb, woven wood and many Roman shades. Lower the top for light and privacy at the same time. It is our most-requested feature for street-facing bedrooms and canyon homes.
Yes. Roman shades are sewn in our local workroom, so customer-supplied fabric is welcome. We check yardage, pattern repeat, weight and lining with you before cutting.
Usually, yes. Restringing, cord locks and lift-system swaps on older Roman shades are routine in our workroom, and many can be converted to cordless or motorized lift at the same time.
Light dusting or a vacuum with the brush attachment handles most of it. Spot clean with mild soap and water. Rollers in kitchens can be specified in wipeable coated fabrics.
Honeycomb shades are the best insulators we sell and make a real difference on west-facing glass in Altadena and Arcadia summers. Solar rollers cut glare and UV while keeping the view.
