Real wood is lighter, stacks tighter and works on wider windows, and the stain depth is unmatched. Faux wood is the practical choice anywhere with humidity or hard use: kitchens, baths, laundry, kids’ rooms. Many homes use both, matched to the same color.
Yes. Every blind we sell is available cordless (lift by hand, tilt by wand) or motorized. We recommend cordless for homes with children and pets, and it is our most common configuration.
Inside mount looks built-in and shows off the trim; it needs enough clear depth in the frame. Outside mount covers the whole frame, blocks more light and hides out-of-square windows. Daniel checks depth and squareness on site before recommending one.
2" slats are the standard for a classic look and good view-through. 2½" slats read more like shutters and suit larger windows. 1" aluminum mini slats are ideal for shallow frames and a slim profile.
